[Linux-libre-announce] New LTS Kernel; Plus ETS Roadmap

As previously mentioned [0], a new long-term support (LTS) kernel is
selected roughly once each year and supported for at least 2 years.

Linux-libre 4.19 has been selected as the next LTS kernel. It's
expected to be released in October.

If you have the linux-libre-lts package installed your package manager
will prompt you to upgrade to 4.19 once it's available.

If you don't want to do that you'll want to replace that package with
either the linux-libre-4.14 package, or the linux-libre-4.14-nonpae
package depending on your CPU architecture, before then so that you
remain on the 4.14 series, which has long-term support until January
2020.

I'd also like to remind everyone that the two year long-term support
period for the 4.9 series continues until this January. On January 1
the 4.9 series will be moved to extended-term support (ETS) for four
more years until January 2023, which represents a full 6 years from the
original release date.

Extended-term support (ETS) versions are a good choice for someone that
wants the reliability and dependability of an LTS version for an
extended period. ETS versions are maintained in a separate repository.
