<h2>Versionitis</h2>

<p>versionitis \ˈvər-zhən-ī-təs\ (noun): A degenerative condition in 
which someone is compulsively obsessed with having the latest 
versions of everything.</p>

<p>Symptoms include picking distros based on package versions, 
constantly refreshing the package manger looking for updates, 
tracking upstream project pages for new releases and then contacting 
developers about why those versions aren't already in their distro 
and when they will be added, and more.</p>

<p>It is in all cases fatal, eventually resulting in the person 
collapsing into a shapeless blob on the floor, twitching with every 
major and minor release of a program until it gets into their distro, 
ad infinitum.</p>
